She grew up in Orillia, Ontario where her passion for sports chiropractic began at a young age. Dr. McMordie is a medical doctor specializing in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Before moving her practice to Back to Function, she was practicing Primary Care Sport Medicine at several clinics in the Hamilton/Burlington area, including McMaster University and Mohawk College. Her clinical expertise includes sport injuries, concussion, joint pain, non-operative osteoarthritis management, platelet-rich plasma, cortisone, trigger point, and viscosupplementation injections.

She has years of experience working with people of all ages – from children to seniors – to address a wide range of conditions including low back and shoulder rehabilitation, concussion and acquired brain injuries. Water rehabilitation is also her specialty and is often incorporated into rehabilitation programs for people with sports injuries, cancer, neurodegenerative conditions and more. Kerri provides individual training and group conditioning programs for Olympic and amateur athletes, is a Trainer for two local hockey teams and provides first aid services at community and athletic events.

To further this interest, Jessica then attended Brock University and graduated in 2015 with an Honours Degree in Physical Education. She then attended Niagara College and completed a post-graduate certificate program in Exercise Science for Health and Performance.
